i did a bit of it in my rooney look, so i can definitely try to do a photo tutorial soon! generally when i’m trying to accentuate my cheekbones/make my face look thinner i’ll do my blush directly on my cheekbones and then a powder that’s a few shades darker than my skintone (for me a matte brown) in the hollows underneath my cheekbones. i make sure to sweep some up along my temples and then blend the crap out of it so it doesn’t look streaky. the trick is generally to find any places on your face where shadows would naturally fall (beneath the cheekbones, sides of nose, jawline, etc) and accentuate them with a darker color. you can also add highlights down the center of the nose, beneath the eyes on the cheeks, etc to make the darker contouring pop more.

oh gosh somehow i must have missed this from a while ago! generally the best way to prevent creasing is to set your foundation (assuming it’s cream or liquid) with a good powder. make sure that you’re patting it on with your brush or, ideally, a sponge/puff rather than using stroking movements, since stroking a powder onto your face will only remove or streak the foundation underneath it. i hope that helps!
one more.
if you guys ever have any celebrity/character look requests, feel free to shoot me an ask! i’m happy to give anything a try.
oops, i’ve been seriously neglected this blog since i started work. i need to fix that!

i wish i could fly to japan to help you do your makeup every day! i actually think that what you usually do with your makeup works well, but maybe bring the wing of your liner up towards the end of your eyebrow more to elongate the eye and draw it upward. i would stick with light neutral shadows without any dark colors in the crease, but you could add white or cream in the inner corner to make your eyes pop more.
i’ve been using a coastal scents concealer palette to work on other people, and the green color corrector in there is great. since you obviously don’t need a palette with a ton of different shades, they do sell a liquid version of the green corrector that i’m sure works just as well! for higher end, MUFE also sells a green primer. you’ll want to apply the color corrector before your foundation and concealer, and make sure to blend it out well.
this is the best tutorial i’ve found for minimizing pores! as far as skincare is concerned, i have huuuge pores and the mask of magnaminty and catastrophe cosmetic face masks from lush both work wonders for clearing out blackheads and making pores smaller. magnaminty you can order online, but catastrophe cosmetic is a fresh face mask so you’ll have to visit a store to buy it.
i hope that helps! :)

i think the easiest way to do it for like…every day use (aka not covering them with SFX/theater makeup or anything) is to use a light cream concealer and then a light powder or eye shadow over that to set them. that’s what i did for my lisbeth makeup and it lightened them up considerably (since i also have pretty dark/thick brows) but i’m not sure if there are any products that would make them go WHITE white without bleaching. although it’s possible that there’s a colored brow gel out there that would work.
